Farm Stays In Keswick

When planning where to stay during your holiday to Keswick, a farm might not be the first place that comes to mind...

But there is a fantastic range of wonderful holiday properties based on farms just outside Keswick, which offer comfort, excellent views & a real insight into Lakeland life.

Here’s our guide to farms in Keswick where you can stay, some also offer farm experiences.

In April and May guests staying on a sheep farm will be able to see new-born lambs out in the fields. If you are lucky enough to be there on the right day you may even be able to watch the birth of a lamb or bottle feed an orphan lamb with permission from the farmer. As well as sheep our local farms may have cattle, hens, ducks, and horses. You may be able to meet and feed the animals or even take a tour. This will vary between establishments so please do speak to the proprietor.

Some of the farms do allow dogs to stay but there may be some rules, such as them being on leads.
