We are the 2nd left after the Borrowdale Hotel. If you get as far as Leathes Cottage, you have gone too far!

Although we are out of town, there are 4 bars and restaurants within 1 mile, the nearest is the Borrowdale Hotel.
We have plenty of great walks from the door. There is a regular bus service into Keswick up to Seatoller, running every 30 minutes during the spring - autumn, and hourly in winter. Also the bus from Grange can take you up over Honister Pass to Buttermere and Crummock Water, making lots of the North Lakes accessible without a car or the hassle of parking. As one of our guests said in their review, “Smack bang in the middle of the good stuff!"

Over Brandelhow sits on the lower slopes of Catbells (at the top of a private drive) with spectacular views down the Borrowdale Valley. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with an open plan living area, hand built, freestanding oak kitchen and large terrace where you can sit and admire the wonderful views.

The cottage is the perfect base for a self-catering holiday in this beautiful part of the Lake District National Park, with great walks directly from the doorstep and lake at the bottom of the hill; there’s plenty to see and do.
The cottage is laid out over two floors with the majority of the accommodation being on the ground floor. Off the entrance hall are 2 bedrooms and family bathroom, there is a change in level of 2 steps from the hall to the living area and the kitchen.

There’s a door between the hall and living area not shown. Upstairs you will find a twin bedroom which has its own en-suite shower room with hand basin and wc.

We have plenty of great walks from the door. There is a regular bus service into Keswick up to Seatoller, running every 30 minutes during the spring - autumn, and hourly in winter. Also the bus from Grange can take you up over Honister Pass to Buttermere and Crummock Water, making lots of the North Lakes accessible without a car or the hassle of parking. There is a wall mounted Smart TV, DAB radio with Bluetooth facility and full wi-fi access. Patio doors look out over a small lawned area and communal open gardens around Elm Court. There is a patio table and chairs for guests use. The grounds are often visited by the local ducks and pheasants from the nearby river bank.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, toilet, hand basin, heated towel rail, new laminate flooring.

Bedrooms consist of one dual aspect master bedroom with super king size bed. The views stretch over the River Greta and beyond to Portinscale and Skiddaw.
