Derwent Cottage is a contemporary town house within a quiet, residential courtyard a couple of minutes walk from the shopping area and within easy walking distance of Derwentwater, Theatre by the Lake and the fells beyond. The stylish, fresh interior and central location provide an excellent base for your holiday.

The front door leads into a bright hallway with coat hooks, a shoe storage area and stairs up to the bedrooms. The kitchen is light and airy and has a good range of well-equipped units , kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. Appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, gas oven and hob, extractor hood and slow cooker.

The lounge/diner has a contemporary feel, with new sofa and two armchairs, a round glass dining table and four chairs. There is a wall mounted Smart TV, DAB radio with Bluetooth facility and full wi-fi access. Patio doors look out over a small lawned area and communal open gardens around Elm Court. There is a patio table and chairs for guests use. The grounds are often visited by the local ducks and pheasants from the nearby river bank.

A fully-refurbished contemporary cottage, Glen Cottage is located near the centre of the village across from the village shop which sells delicious pastries and cakes to help fuel yourself on the fells. The property oozes modern cosiness with the beautiful log burner, perfect for those chillier spring evenings. You can also make the most of those sunnier days in the beautiful garden. The property sleeps 4 people, with a master bedroom with king size bed and twin bedroom to the back of the property.

8 Howrahs Court is a lovely two bedroom ground floor apartment in the ever popular Elliot Park area of town. Just a couple of minutes walk from Main Street and within easy walking distance of Derwentwater and the fells beyond, it is ideally located.
