From Aunty Em’s Cumbrian cottage Dorothy dreams of returning to her old life in London. But as she climbs out of the window to run away, a storm whisks her up, and she gets far more than she bargained for.

How do you get from Oz to London? There’s only one person who could possibly help – The Wizard!

Join Dorothy and her faithful companion Toto on an adventure down the yellow brick road, facing witches and flying monkeys and making new friends. Along the way she learns that there’s no place she’d rather be than home with Aunty Em.

Author Alan Cleaver, Countrystride producer David Felton and special guests unpack a stocking of seasonal gifts featuring memories of past times, traditional yuletide food, a journey into Cumberland dialect and tunes, and the inevitable fire-side ghost story.

Travel to the frost-bound halls of the Norse gods where a trickers’ cruel laugh echoes in the growing darkness; walk in the icy footsteps of Old Man Winter, whose breath shapes the turning of the year and stand beside Gwaine as the Green Knight arrives in King Arthurs court, cloaked in challenge and enchantment.

In this snowy spectacular, you’re guaranteed a white Christmas no matter the weather. Snow Play is a fun-filled showdown between Winter and Spring to decide who gets to stay and who has to go.

Join the battle as Mr White and Mr Green fight for control of the seasons in this highly interactive show. You’ll help build a giant snowman, blanket a whole house in snow and get involved in an epic snowball fight!
