The TWA Dogs pub in Keswick has raised £275 for Calvert Lakes Stables.

Locals at the pub raised the money through their bingo evening and lottery. Their generous donation will go towards tack and equipment for Calvert Stables’ two new ponies - Queenie and Amber.

Outgoing tenant at the TWA Dogs, Justin Farnan said:  “Having worked at the Calvert Trust from 2015 to 2021, it’s a charity that’s very close to my heart. A big thank you to all our regulars who have now raised over £2500 for various charities.”

Henri Carew, Stables Manager at Calvert Stables and a regular at the TWA Dogs said:  “We are very grateful to everyone at the TWA Dogs for their generosity. Every donation makes a real difference when it comes to running our stables.”
