10 in 10 - MS Charity Peak Walking Challenge

Saturday 17th June 2023

The annual 10in10 and Family 5in5 challenge was designed and created by Yvonne Booth in 2011. It was her response to her husband's diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis in 2010. As a wife and mother of three sons, she wanted to do something positive and help raise money for research into MS. The event is organised by Yvonne and a huge band of very experienced outdoor enthusiasts, who have grown up walking and running in the lake district fells. They bring an incredible amount of experience and knowledge to the events, and their passion for where they live, and the fells makes the 10in10 the success it is.

Everyday 10in10 Challenge

The Everyday 10in10 Challenge can be held any day of the year! This means you and your team can complete one of our routes at your convenience. You can work the challenge into a weekend away or a family holiday in the Lake District at any time of year.

All we ask is that you register your attempt, raise some money for the MS Society and we’ll reward you with a 10in10 Buff to wear with pride. Once you register your attempt we will send you the relevant route guide and a fundraising pack.

No Cure, Always Hope, Ultra Run

The ‘No Cure, Always Hope, Ultra Run’ is a new challenge for 2016. A 39 mile classic fell running challenge over 25 peaks with 17,000 feet of ascent. Anyone can attempt the route. You must register your attempt beforehand here, keep a record of the time you set off from and the time you return.
