The Back Bar
The Back Bar can be found at the rear of the Inn on the Square and is a dog-loving, family-friendly pub providing comfortable drinks and easy meals from 12noon ‘til late.
When the weather allows, our outdoor seating is ready for you to enjoy a drink or a meal in the sunshine, making it the perfect spot to soak up Keswick’s laid-back atmosphere.
Inside, you can grab a drink (or two) and watch live sports on our TVs, while shooting some pool or throwing a few darts.
With regular live music, a huge selection of drinks, local ales and beers – it’s a great place for friends, families and laid-back nights out in Keswick.
The Back Bar has been awarded the Cask Marque Award for their beer and cellar management, awarded by the independent Cask Marque Trust. Food is served Sunday to Thursday from 12pm-7pm and Friday & Saturday until 5pm.

By road - Keswick is 20 miles via the A66 from Penrith and the M6 Motorway, Junction 40.
By rail - Penrith is the nearest main line station. There are regular bus routes to Keswick.
