A Magical Winter Adventure for Under 6s inspired by The Boy Who Cried Wolf

For those looking for something to entertain the under 6s this Christmas, Theatre by the Lake's Studio show, WOLF! is a great way to introduce the little ones to the magic of theatre. Head down to the Keswick theatre for a magical winter adventure and find out what happens when Jack cries WOLF!

Under the snowy mountains, beneath the winter moon and amongst a flock of woolly sheep, Jack is bored. Bored of watching sheep and bored of counting them. Just really bored of sheep. Down in the village, a whisper of a wolf is about to cause a panic.

Through original music and puppetry, two talented performers, Sophie Coward and Jack Lloyd, bring to life this beautiful retelling of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Sophie's theatre credits include Julie: The Musical (Le Gasp Productions), Hanging by a Thread (DIY Theatre Company), Ranger Keys (Jurassic Earth), Virtual Forest of Forgotten Discos (ContactMcr) and Giraffes Can't Dance (Leicester Curve).

Jack's theatre credits include Notice to Move (Blowin a Hooley Theatre), Grubbins Wood (Timba Dah Theatre), Preaching to the Bottom of a Glass (The Worriers), Peggy Pearpot (The Customs House) and Night Out in Nature (Frozen Light Productions).

WOLF! is presented by award-winning family theatre company Kitchen Zoo, who return to Theatre by the Lake following two wonderfully imaginative productions for young audiences, The Tortoise and The Hare and Hey Diddle Diddle. The show runs from Tue 12 - Sun 31 December and is suitable for children aged 6 and under and their grown-ups. All performances are relaxed, so the theatre invites young family audiences to come in, cuddle up and not worry about getting excited, joining in or keeping too quiet!
