Casting announced for the world premiere of gripping new thriller, The Climbers at Theatre by the Lake

Casting has been announced for the World premiere of a gripping new thriller, The Climbers, which opens at Theatre by the Lake this June.

The Climbers, written by Carmen Nasr and directed by Guy Jones, has a cast of six. Theatre by the Lake are looking forward to welcoming them all for rehearsals next week. The creative team are taking their inspiration from the Lake District’s stunning setting by scheduling a climb (as well as other activities) to immerse themselves in the world of the play – only fitting with the show taking place in the adventure capital of England and reputed birthplace of the British rock climbing movement.

The Climbers is a mesmerising and thrilling exploration of the lure of the mountains, the drive to conquer them and the price of staying alive, and Theatre by the Lake is the perfect venue to host it
