The Back Bar

The Back Bar can be found at the rear of the Inn on the Square and is a dog-loving, family-friendly pub providing comfortable drinks and easy meals from 12noon ‘til late.

You can grab a drink (or two) and watch live sports on our plasma TV’s whilst shooting some pool or throwing some darts.

With regular live music, a huge selection of drinks, local ales and beers – it’s a great place for friends, families and laid-back nights out in Keswick.

Location

By road - Keswick is 20 miles via the A66 from Penrith and the M6 Motorway, Junction 40.


By rail - Penrith is the nearest main line station. There are regular bus routes to Keswick.

Please note: From October 10th for 10 days the A591 along Penrith Road into Keswick will be closed. If you are travelling from Penrith please do not take the 1st turning off into Keswick and continue along the A66 and turn left at the roundabout.

 Your pup will shine in our 'pup-up' studio, expertly set up with a captivating backdrop to create the perfect portrait. Plus, you'll receive a stunning high-resolution digital file of your favourite shot as a cherished keepsake.

It is also important to note that the Hidey Hole is located above the Back Bar and accessible only by stairs, therefore may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Please access the venue via the Back Bar.
