This spacious ground floor apartment in a quiet well maintained block is a couple of minute’s level walk from the shopping area and within easy walking distance of Derwent water. It is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, carpeted throughout and thoughtfully equipped with full gas central heating & double glazing. It is close to the river and enjoys views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw from the bedrooms. 
 

Accommodation

  • Large hallway with coat hooks, shoe storage and bookcase with maps and guide books.
  • The kitchen is well equipped with new units and an excellent range of utensils and equipment; a refrigerator and freezer, washing machine with tumble drier, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher.
  • The dual aspect lounge/dining room has patio doors overlooking the communal gardens and a window overlooking a small shingled sitting area at the rear of the property. It has comfortable seating, oak dining table and chairs, Smart 40 inch TV, Sound Bar with bluetooth facility, DVD, digital radio and an electric fire.
  • Bedrooms consist of a double with high quality built in wardrobes and ensuite (wash hand basin and toilet) and a large twin. All beds have duvets and linen and hairdryer is provided.
  • The main shower room has a large power shower, toilet, wash hand basin and shaver point.

Sutable property for adult couples and families. A travel cot and high chair can be provided.

We had everything we needed at the flat and one of our usual problems being a family of 4 with a baby and a toddler is a lack of space but the apartment is very large with a big floor space, light and airy. It was also very clean and well maintained.”

Location

Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 take the first turning left signed to Keswick. Turn right at the junction with the A591 from Ambleside and head downhill past the Twa Dogs public house and continue on through a pedestrian crossing, following the road as it bends left and then right through another pedestrian crossing at the western end of the Market Place. Turn left at the small mini roundabout just 100yards further on and then filter to go on the right hand fork past the taxi rank and bus stops outside of Booths Store. Turn right again and ignore the turning right to go into Booth’s car park but continue along to the furthest car parking area amongst the houses and apartments a little ahead. The apartment is in second entarnce to Greta Grove House, the furthest building from the road. Please use space No 12.
