Acorn Cottage is a double-fronted, 4 bedroom property believed to be almost 200 years old. It has recently been fully renovated and refurbished to a high standard and offers particularly spacious living accommodation. It has gas central heating throughout. It is very conveniently situated in a quiet area yet within a few minutes walk of both Keswick town centre and Derwentwater.

The entrance porch, which provides storage space for coats and boots, opens into a large living room with plenty of comfortable seating and an open fireplace with a traditional Lakeland stone surround, TV, DVD, Bose CD player and radio.The separate dining room has a useful pulley drying rack and an electric keyboard for musically creative guests.

A fully fitted quality kitchen and utility area contains an electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble-drier.

On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with super king size bed (can be made up as twin on request for a small charge) and room for a cot if required, a double room, a compact well-fitted bathroom with a shower over the bath, a vanity unit with basin and a wc, and a further washroom with basin, vanity unit and wc.

On the second floor there are two single bedrooms with views of Castle Head and Walla Cragg through velux windows. These two rooms are light and airy but have limited headroom.Outside there is a small enclosed rear patio with a gated side passage giving access on to the street.

There is on-steet parking in front of the cottage.

Ideal for anyone who wants to forget about the car and be right in the hub of Keswick town. Set right in the heart of Keswick this property offers everything you could need, spacious rooms, high ceilings, views over the town centre to the fells beyond and easy access to restaurants, shops, cafes, pubs, shops etc and less 100 metres from Fitz park. 

Crandy Nook is a fabulous 4-bedroom maisonette, recently refurbished to a very high specification. Centrally located, it boasts stunning views of Skiddaw, Walla Crag and Latrigg. Access is via a metal staircase (at the rear of the building) which leads to the entrance door on the first floor of this Victorian building.

Set then on three floors, the accommodation consists of 2 large double bedrooms, one with bay window overlooking one of the main shopping areas of the town, a ¾ bedroom and single bedroom. All are well furnished with oak furniture and have co-ordinating fabrics. There are 2 luxury bathrooms, both have baths, walk-in showers and heated towel rails. The kitchen and living area are located on the top floor and enjoy magnificent panoramic views. The kitchen has a slate floor, granite worktops and integrated appliances with an abundance of storage and worktop space. The living / dining area, which is light and airy with a high ceiling, has a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, DVD player and CD player with iPod docking station, two leather settees, dining table & six comfortable dining chairs. Reduced Occupancy is available at Crandy Nook from September to June (excluding school holidays). We are able to offer this service by locking off un-used rooms saving on cleaning and energy costs. Prices are reduced to reflect the number of bedrooms/bathroom used. Standard 1 bedroom booking (double bedroom & main bathroom), 2 bedroom booking (2 x double bedrooms with2 x bathroom), 3 bedroom booking (2 x double bedrooms, 1 x single bedroom and 2 bathrooms).
