Goodwin house is located just a short (approximately 3 minutes) walk from Keswick Town Centre where you will find many local shops, coffee and cake shops, real ale pubs, restaurants, cinema and the famous traditional market around Moot Hall which all serve the perfect location to stay whilst exploring the North Lakes and local area.

Surrounded by and with breathtaking view of the many trails, fells and mountains, Keswick also has the stunning Derwentwater Lake and world-renowned Theatre by the Lake where within a short distance you can also reach the Marina and Keswick launch.

Built in 1893 by the then Mayor of Keswick for his family, Goodwin House was designed in ‘American Style’ following his trip to the United States, and to this day the building stands as a prominent and outstanding piece of architecture in the heart of the local vibrant Cumbrian community.
