Welcome to Brookfield B&B Guest House Keswick, in the Northern part of the English Lake District.

The B&B is located in a in a quite area being just a 15 minute walk from Keswick town Centre and the beautiful Lake Derwentwater, also Castle Rigg Stone Circle and Keswick Climbing Wall.

If this is your first visit to Keswick and the English Lakes, Simon and Lorna can offer you plenty of advice on walks, drives and places to eat.

Free Parking opposite the B&B in the side street which, also leads up to the Historical Castlerigg Stone Circle, ( only minutes away ).

Rooms Description

  • Room 1 is on the first floor. This is a cosy size double en-suite and looks out on the wooded fells of Latrigg.
  • Room 2 is also on the 1st floor. This is a very spacious Victorian decorated room and has a double bed a single bed and a bed settee. Many visitors book this for the extra comfomfort as a double or twin room. It accomodates families of 2 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children, and even 2 adults and 3 children depending on age.
  • Room 3 is situated on the second floor. This is a very cosy size double en-suite and has the same view as Room 1, but more stunning as you are that much higher.
  • Room 4 is also situated on the second floor. This en-suite room boast having a super king size bed at (no extra cost) a single bed. and a proper pull out almost full sized single bed.This room again can be used as a spacious double, twin, triple, or to keep cost low for 4 adults. It also can accommodate a family of 2 adults and 1 child or, 2 adults and 2 children.

Specialities
You can always be sure of a good hearty Cumberland breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7.30 am until 9.00pm

Location

Public Transport ,From Penrith train station, the bus top is located on your left hand-side. you need the X4 or X5 to Workington via Keswick. When you board the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at the 2nd bus stop when he turns off the A66 for Keswick town centre. This stop is before the junction were the driver will turn right towards Keswick. When you get off the bus, cross the road and walk down for 10 meters.

 

By Car,

From The North From M6 jct 40 at Penrith, Keswick is 17 miles along the A66. Take the Windermere/Keswick slip road marked A591. Brookfield is 800m on the right-hand side, opposite the turning to Castlerigg Stone Circle.

From The South From M6 at jct 36 then Keswick is 35 miles up the A591 through Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere, a more scenic tour. On approach into Keswick down the hill, take the 1st main turning on the right to Penrith/Cockermouth. Brookfield is 50m on the left-hand side. Public Transport.
