7 Farms In Keswick Where You Can Stay
When planning where to stay during your holiday to Keswick, a farm might not be the first place that comes to mind - but there are a fantastic range of wonderful holiday properties based on farms just outside Keswick, which offer comfort, excellent views, and a real insight into Lakeland life. Here’s our guide to seven farms in Keswick where you can stay.
In April and May guests staying on a sheep farm will be able to see new-born lambs out in the fields. If you are lucky enough to be there on the right day you may even be able to watch the birth of a lamb or bottle feed an orphan lamb with permission from the farmer. Aswell as sheep our local farms may have cattle, hens, ducks and horses. You may be able to meet and feed the animals or even take a tour. This will vary between establishments so please do speak to the proprietor.
Some of the farms do allow dogs to stay but your dogs will need to be on a lead whenever they are outdoors.
