The CBeebies Christmas Show at the Keswick Alhambra recreates on the big screen the live Thumbelina performance and includes an exclusive, additional show made for cinema audiences only starring the much-loved Justin Fletcher (Something Special) in "Justin’s Countdown to Christmas". Laugh and sing along with your favourite CBeebies stars and be part of a fabulous interactive show for all the family this holiday season, at the

André Rieu returns with his New Year’s concert, recorded live in the iconic Town Hall of Sydney, Australia. Join Andre for a magical evening of music and dance featuring his world class sopranos, The Platin Tenors, and plenty of surprises: show tunes, classical music and festive fun.

Christingle Service at Crosthwaite Church

Join us for our colourful candlelit Christingle Service at 4pm on the 9th December. Collection in aid of the Children's Society.

Festival of Christmas Music at Crosthwaite Church - Keswick Choral Society’s extremely popular annual Festival of Christmas Music will take place on Tuesday 11 December 2018 at 7.30 pm. Carols for both choir and audience. It’s a great way to start off this festive season. £12 in advance from Bookends or choir members; £14 on the door.

La Serenissima - Baroque Ensemble at Theatre by the Lake - a feast of Baroque instrumental colour for oboes, bassoons, trumpets, trombone, timpani, strings and continuo; the lives and music of Vivaldi, Telemann and Bach are intertwined with less familiar composers. 9th Dec 7.30pm More info and book

Hey Diddle Diddle at Theatre by the Lake - When the full moon shines bright there’s magic in the air and all the animals come out to play. Ever wondered how a cow jumped over the moon? Or why the dish ran away with the spoon? Stay up late with flying cows, jazzy cats and runaway crockery as we jump and jive to the music in a brilliant new take on the classic nursery rhyme. Beauty and the Beast at Theatre by the Lake. When bright, beautiful Belle is taken prisoner by a fearsome beast, she discovers there is much more to her mysterious and frightening captor than appearances might first suggest. NEW YEAR’S EVE CONCERT at  Alhambra Cinema

Live concert, conducted by Daniel Barenboim, who also takes on the role of soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26 - a work of sparkling beauty and nuanced expression. Four famous works by Maurice Ravel follow: Rapsodie espagnole; Alborada del gracioso; Pavane pour une infante défunte (for orchestra); before the final highlight: the Boléro, perhaps the most stunning crescendo in music history. More info.
