Covid 19 Update

Our website bookings are open at https://alpacalyeverafter.co.uk/our-activities/

Well, it’s official! We are dipping our toes back in the water as of the 4th of July :) We are so excited to see you all again (be gentle with us, we may have put on a bit of weight or have crazy new haircuts or have forgotten how to speak!)
Our website booking system is open and we have put thorough measures in place to ensure your safety, full details of which will be shown on the website and your booking confirmation emails. As all of our activities are outside in the fresh air, and alpacas and llamas are expert social distancers who always like to keep two meters apart we had a bit of a head start! We ask that you do read your emails and ask any questions before you arrive to help us to keep you and our staff safe. Some of our sites will also have specific restrictions so please contact us if you have any particular requirements.

Being outdoors in the fresh air and surrounded by nature is a hugely important part of physical and mental wellbeing and The Woolly Army looks forward to sharing this with you again in our beautiful part of the world!

Walks at Lingholm, Whinlatter and Little Town start from 4th July

Welcome to Alpacaly Ever After... once upon a time, our award winning Social Enterprise began…

Our mission is to rehome alpacas and llamas from all over the country and give them a wonderful new home with the very best of care, while bringing people in touch with the landscape and the natural world through outstanding alpaca and llama experiences, accessible to all and surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site. We have 4 different locations for our activities, all of them easily accessible from Keswick.

Our Alpaca Walks are at both The Lingholm Estate and The Lakes Distillery and last 1.5 hours. These are suitable for children aged 10 and older and give you a unique experience to bond with one of our Alpacas as you lead them around the estates, feed them and even take them for a dip at The Lingholm Estate property. Our Meet and Greets are at both The Lingholm Estate and The Lakes Distillery; these are great for the whole family, last 30 minutes and give you a chance to meet our Woolly Army up close and personal.

If you are looking for something more adventurous, we have Alpaca Walks at Whinlatter Forest (1.5 hours) or for something even more challenging we have our Llama Treks either up the Newlands Valley or onto the back of local fell Catbells. These treks last for 2.5 hours and are for kids aged 12+ (family trek) or 16+ for the Catbells route.

All of our sites have different facilities and can include a cafe, toilets, free parking and shopping (check our website for details). We also cater for all groups sizes, abilities and can tailor make something to suit you, so please get in touch if you have any special needs. Pricing varies on your activity, group size and if you want a private walk or are happy to be a part of a group, so please check our website for details or give us a call.

As our activities are all outside we can offer you advice and guidance on what to wear, so again please get in touch if you need more information.

Come and join our Woolly Army for a great experience in the Lake District.
