Meet at Force Crag Mine at the head of the Coledale Valley (Grid Ref 198 216) or, meet at the Noble Knott car park (see below) for a lift via National Trust transport.

Think about those miners for a few minutes and you will probably realise that sturdy footwear and warm and waterproof clothing may well be necessary. Also bring along any refreshments you might want.
