2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the Cumbrian Railways Association. Celebrate this milestone, look to the future of the association, and discover why a passion for railways can be so enduring.

Why not take a trip upstairs to the Keswick Museum after the talk? We have a range of specialist books on the history of the railways in our shop, plus artefacts from the historic Keswick-Threlkeld Railway Line (1864-1972) in our galleries.

The talk will last around 45-60 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.

Please note that unlike our typical Wednesday Lunchtime Talks, this session takes place on a Thursday.
