A weekend of family fun on and beside Derwent Water. In the spirit of the eccentric 18th-century owner of Derwent Island, Joseph 'King Pocky' Pocklington, if you like messing around on the water with the whole family, then this is the event for you.
A join-in-and-take-part family event for people totally new to watersports. Have a go at something new with low-cost watersports for beginners in everything from sailing and canoeing to Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP).
Plus free activities on our free-to-access parkland, including water play, balance bikes, wild art and all the fun of a traditional summer fête. Plus lakeshore bar by Sticklebarn.
As always there will be cannon fire and entertainment, side stalls, refreshments and competitions and 50 Things activities taking place on Crow Park.
