Details

A new exhibition at Keswick Museum which brings together photos and memories of Keswick and the surrounding area during the 1950s.

The images and objects featured in the exhibition were kindly submitted by members of the local community — including individuals who grew up in the area during the 50s, those who have inherited family collections, found albums at car boot sales or even boxes of slides bought at auctions. Together, the images build up a fascinating picture of 1950s Keswick — the local trades, characters, fashion, events, activities and lifestyle.

The exhibition runs from 29th March until 1st May 2024
