Travelling from Penrith on A66, follow signs for town centre. Turn right after war memorial on to Station Road.

Brought to you by the National Trust and West Cumbria Rivers Trust, join us for a river dipping session in the river Greta to bring the new Raindrop to River Exhibit to life on Saturday 19 August, 1pm-3pm.

Join West Cumbria Rivers Trust for river simulator fun and family river dipping – explore all the curious creatures in our rivers! Find out how a river flows by watching our river simulator and see what lives in them by river dipping – there’s nothing like catching fascinating creepy crawlies. Don’t forget to bring a pair of wellies and waterproofs as rivers are wet places!

Suitable for the whole family, booking in advance via Keswick Museum’s website is essential for this free event. 

There is step-free access to the Community Gallery from Fitz Park. The Community Gallery can also be accessed via lift from the main museum gallery. The river bank is accessible by wheelchair but there are a few rocks to negotiate in order to access the river.
