St. Johns Street
The Alhambra Cinema is located in St Johns Street just up from the Market Square.
In association with Sustainable Keswick, West Cumbria Rivers Trust is delighted to host a screening of ‘Save Our Wild Isles Business Films’ as part of the Great Big Green Week.
Created by WWF, the RSPB, the National Trust and Silverback Films, the films were inspired by the BBC Wild Isles series. They reveal how much nature we have lost in the UK and explore actions employees and businesses can take to reduce their impact. Taking action for nature is an opportunity and this film will help get the conversation started in any workplace and industry group. It combines stunning wildlife footage with the voices of influential business leaders and experts and shows the risks of inaction when it comes to protecting and restoring UK nature.
Three of the four films - ‘The Business of Nature’, ‘Hungry for Change’, and ‘Catch-22’ - will be screened followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.
Duration: 2.5 hours (including panel discussion & Q&A)
West Cumbria Rivers Trust and Sustainable Keswick invite individuals, business leaders, influencers and advocates from businesses large and small from the local area to attend the screening and get the conversation going to help understand how we can all play our part in the solution to the nature crisis.
Whilst the event is free, we would please ask you to book your place to guarantee a seat and so we know how many to expect on the night.
