From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Join our experienced, knowledgeable Ranger on this guided walk of the Seat How Summit Trail! 

Seat How Summit trail is a 3.5 mile walking trail which takes you to the highest point in the forest and offers fantastic panoramic views to Derwentwater, Keswick and the Lake District fells beyond.  During this walk our Ranger will talk about the climate and sustainability and why these are both important factors to the forest. 

The guided walk start at 10.30am and will take approximately two and a half hours. If you’d like to join us, make sure to book you place with our friendly team in the Visitor Centre. Spaces are limited.  Wear clothes suitable for walking and the weather. Sorry no dogs
