Direction

From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Details

The Challenging Whinlatter Forest is the venue for this Trail Half Marathon in late May 2023 with the option of a 10k.

With breath-taking views across the Lake District towards Keswick and Skiddaw this run won’t disappoint those who love the Lakes. The runs are mainly on firm trail paths starting on the North side and finishing on the South side. All Finishers will be rewarded with Wild Deer Merchandise, a Wooden Medal, snack and a Beer or soft drink.
