We're very excited - our brand-new walking trail opens at Whinlatter at the end of March, and you could be one of the very first people to explore it!
The Wow trail is a 4.5-mile walking trail showcasing the wonders of Whinlatter, England's only true mountain forest.
Be prepared to enjoy fantastic views, stunning surroundings plus wildlife spotting in our new woodland wildlife hide - what will you see?
You'll also take time to pause, reflect, and reset in our new wellbeing area, a beacon of peace deep within the forest before discovering one of the best views in the Lake District at our new viewpoint!
Enjoy coffee and pastries in Café Ambio before our experienced, knowledgeable ranger leads you around this amazing trail for an exclusive tour. You’ll learn facts about the forest and hear some of the stories that make Whinlatter such a special place - with over 100 years of history there's plenty to discover!
After we’ve wowed you on the walking trail we’ll return to Café Ambio for a scrumptious afternoon tea to finish the day.
This exclusive experience starts at 9.30am and is expected to last until approximately 2.30pm. If you’d like to join us, make sure to book you place with our friendly team in the Visitor Centre. Spaces are limited.
