Discover the art of collage under the expert guidance of Gill, a freelance illustrator, textile print designer and tutor from Silverdale.
In this creative class, you will work with the fresh exuberant colours of spring to create collages inspired by the new spring growth and flourishing of nature. The collage will be based on an image that is personal to you, it could be spring flowers, a landscape, or garden birds. You could even work with abstract shapes using the fresh palette.
Gill will share the techniques used to make striking collages, while you create a set of painted textured papers using paints, pastels and watercolour pencils. These will be cut and assembled into a collage, which will give you the freedom to explore colour composition.
