'A Landscape in Oils' with Richard Kitson ~ two days.
Join Richard for this exciting two day workshop exploring the iconic Lake District landscape through the medium of the old masters. Perfect for those looking to paint with Oils for the first time, as well as students with some prior experience.
The first day will cover basic oil painting techniques, colour mixing, mark making and simple landscape studies. On the second day you will be encouraged to practice the techniques explored on the first day to produce a finished landscape painting. The workshop will be underpinned with demonstrations, individual advice and feedback from tutor Richard Kitson. Suitable for all abilities, including beginners and those with no previous oil painting experience. Please see below re materials that can be provided by the tutor.
