Direction

From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Experience the beauty of the forest at night with this sensory forest bathing session with Dark Skies Ambassador Jen Grange. A magical adventure, the dark heightens our senses enveloping us in a host of new and exciting experiences. 

Our slow and mindful journey through the forest allows us to open our awareness to night time sounds, nocturnal wildlife, dark skies and hopefully plenty of stars. Seeking out the planets and constellations, we may be lucky enough to see the Milky Way, before engaging in mindful stargazing as we lie back and look up at the night sky.

A reasonable level of mobility is required for this activity. We will be walking approx 2km on trails and uneven ground.
