Details

Get creative in the outdoors and go exploring with us. We’ll walk from Dove Cottage to White Moss Common, where children can have a go at sketching and painting their surroundings. From craggy fells to shining lakes and perhaps even a heron in the pond, they’ll find no end of inspiration! On the walk there and back we’ll make plenty of stops to see what animals and plants we can spot, and share some of William and Dorothy Wordsworth’s writing in the places that they wrote about. 
The walk to White Moss Common takes around 40 minutes over sometimes steep and uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing suited to the weather – this session will go ahead even on a rainy day. All art materials will be provided.
For families with children aged 4+. Parking is free for this event.
