Direction

From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Details

This ride is for women who would like to ride on forest tracks at Whinlatter Forrest at a leisurely pace. This is a social, inclusive and supportive ride for all. We will be riding at the pace of the slowest rider so we don't leave anyone behind. Mountain bikes are essential for this ride and so is a helmet and gloves and clothes you are comfortable cycling in. A drink for along the way & a snack if needed. Coffee and Cakes is an option at the end of the ride at Siskins outdoor seating area. First-timers welcome! If you need to cancel your place it won’t be a problem just let us know before the ride so we are not waiting unnecessarily for you, especially if it’s raining.
