Threlkeld is located off the A66 in Cumbria, 4 miles west of Keswick and 13 miles east of Penrith. From Penrith, junction 40 on the M6, follow signs to Keswick and after 13 miles turn right into Threlkeld Village. Do not follow your Sat Nav after this point - the Village Hall is located 0.5 mile along on the left hand side. From Keswick follow signs to Penrith and after 4 miles take the first left signposted Threlkeld. The Village Hall is 0.5 mile along on the right hand side.

Details

The Haley Sisters, Jo-Ann and Becky, were born and raised in West Yorkshire, in the village of Harden, just outside of Bingley. From a very early age they followed in their parents’ footsteps, showing a strong interest in music from all genres. The Haley Sisters first appeared professionally back in 1989, when they launched themselves into a successful singing career playing original music, Americana, Country, Folk & Blues.  Good solid songs featuring a magical blend of vocal harmonies and top notch musicianship are the trademarks of the band. They have performed at the London Palladium, Crawley Folk Festival, Music On The Marr Festival, the Sedgefield Folk Festival, Haworth Arts Festival, Sky Pennine folk & acoustic roots festival, plus many Theatres, Festivals and Events covering the entire UK and abroad. They are currently touring with Nathan Carter. Becky and Jo-Ann are both award-winning vocalists, with Becky on rhythm and fingerstyle guitar and Jo-Ann on bass guitar. The third member of the group is award-winning songwriter and slide guitarist Brian, who joined them in 1993. Humour and musical diversity make for a most memorable and entertaining show. These are all the ingredients which drive, elevate and heighten the sound of "The Haley Sisters"

The Haley Sisters are returning to Threlkeld Village Hall, CA12 4RX in 2022 following their successful concert in 2018.  They will be playing on Friday 25th February at 8pm. Bar and Box Office from 7:15pm. Tickets are £10 (£5 under 18s) available from the village hall coffee shop and on-line at www.threlkeldvillagehall.org/whats-on by credit card or Paypal. Box Office Enquiries 07931 679654. Tickets bought on-line will be available for collection on the night from the Box Office. Please note that there will be a one-way system in force and it is mandatory to wear a mask during the concert. The audience size will also be restricted.
