Now in its seventh year, Rheged’s flagship Great Print exhibition is the largest event of its kind in the UK. Celebrating the art of printmaking and all the different techniques used to create hand-pulled prints, this free and original exhibition, curated by Rheged, has a reputation for showcasing both emerging and established artists. Every print on display is an original work of art, available to buy from our Gallery and online Gallery shop.
Among more than 20 printmakers joining us for the first time this year is Daniel Heath, an award-winning designer-maker based in East London, who exhibits and sells internationally. He will curate a printed home/room-scape as part of Great Print 7 using handmade wallpapers and textiles, which he silk-screen prints using his own hand-drawn illustrations and materials that are salvaged or responsibly sourced in the UK.
