What to Expect... at our Meet and Greet at The Lakes Distillery
And so it was once upon a time when The Lakes Distillery was the perfect place to live alpacaly ever after! Situated on the River Derwent in a dramatic location, it is surrounded by incredible views of the northern most fells. The Lakes Distillery is the perfect place to come along and Meet The Alpacas!
Every Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm (with extra dates during school holidays) you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the alpacas and their babies.
Please note this activity takes place at the Lakes Distillery, Bassenthwaite Lake CA13 9SJ.
We also have Walks with our Alpacas at 2 locations; The Lingholm Estate and Whinlatter Forest Park and for the more adventurous we have Llama Treks as well. Go to our website for all of our activities and our shop.
As a Non-Profit Social Enterprise all the income from our activities goes back into supporting the work we do re-homing and rescuing alpacas and llamas, and providing free and subsidised activities for third sector organisations!
