From M6 jct 40 and follow A66 towards Keswick, follow brown signs to Theatre and Lakeside. On foot the theatre is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Keswick.
Continuing our work with new writers, we’ve been busy building a ‘Play Engine’ series culminating in three rehearsed readings open to the public.
Over the course of our Spark programme we’ve invited three different teams of actors and creatives from Cumbria, and beyond, to work on exciting new plays, some that should have been part of our 2020 Summer Season, and other new, exciting titles. At the end of each week we’re inviting audiences into our online rehearsal room to see what we’ve been working on.
These free readings will be happening once a month, so if you fancy a front row seat and an insight into some of the exciting work on the horizon at TbtL, come and join us!
Our third play engine title is still being decided, but why not add an element of suspense and book a ticket anyway? Rest assured our team have some very exciting potential titles up their sleeves, and we can guarantee you’ll be at the forefront of our planning for future productions at Theatre by the Lake.
