Details

Wildlife artist David Cemmick has drawn from life all over the world. Be it animals on the move or an animal skull in the studio, but we must all learn to see our subjects before we can draw them.

Over this Observational Drawing day, David will guide students of all experience levels through the process of learning to see what we want to draw and how to render this in an accurate and lively way.

Working from natural forms in the studio observing animal skulls, taxidermy and objects from nature, students will explore techniques using pencil, charcoal, conte and biro.

Learning to draw well brings confidence, accuracy and strength to everything that follows.
