Direction

From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Details

Join JAG Outdoors for a family friendly guided walk out onto the fells above Whinlatter Forest. Following a route through the trees before popping out onto the wild, hummocky peaks. The walk will be at a steady pace, with some nice climbs. The route will be matched to the weather conditions and group on the day.

Children and dogs are very welcome, dogs must be on a lead in the forest. Children under 12 need to be within arms reach of their adult(s).

Wear clothes and shoes suitable for walking out doors & the weather
