Celebrate the Winter Solstice with Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese art of Forest Bathing.
The winter solstice celebrates the release of the dark and return of the sun as each new day grows longer. It holds a powerful energy for self-reflection, regeneration & renewal.
Join us for guided mindfulness and meditation, sensory invitations and sharing circle. Setting intention and releasing that which we no longer need.A warm, welcoming fire & traditional tea ceremony as we watch the night fall.
On the day you will need:
Plenty of warm clothes
Hat and gloves
Water bottle and snack
You may like to bring a blanket or sleeping bag as we will be sitting still for a while
You will need a moderate level of fitness to participate, we will be walking approx 1.5km very slowly.
