Try a new E-adventure, with E-Mountain Biking on the trails after the sun goes down. Our e-bikes have 4 modes which assist you as you pedal, so you still get to exercise, whilst having as much assistance from the motor as you desire - they're great fun on the uphills, and the descents! Pedaling out on a ride after dark has all your senses on high alert, but there is also sense of tranquility , as it is just you, your e-bike and a beam of light riding under the dark sky.

A fantastic experience, a great opportunity to meet new people and a chance to see the beautiful winter skies - away from urban light. Don’t worry if you have not done much cycling in the past, all we require is the desire to get out and have ago at something new.

As we take a break and pull off the trail, don’t forget turn off the lights and enjoy the tranquility of being outside at night. Listen to the wind rustling through the forest trees, check out the stars and breathe in the cool crispness of the night air.

This night E-mountain biking ride experience is with qualified Cyclewise instructors at Whinlatter Forest, near Keswick. You will meet at Cyclewise Whinlatter Bike Hire & Shop , where we will set you up with your e-mountain bike, helmet and light, ready to hit the trails and head into the darkness. Do let us know your biking ability at the time of booking and we will ensure to allocate you into a suitable ability group. We will make our way through the forest on a variety of trails and along gravel roads, eventually reaching clear open terrain on the Whinlatter mountain, overlooking the valley.

Do let us know your biking ability at the time of booking and we will ensure to allocate you into a suitable ability group.Minimum age 14 years (with parent guardian required for under 18 years).
