Travelling from Penrith on A66, follow signs for town centre. Turn right after war memorial on to Station Road.

Details

A walk around Literary Keswick visiting places associated with some of the great figures of literature.

This is a free walking tour as part of Heritage Open Days at Keswick Museum, led by Sylvia Pilling, visiting places associated with such literary figures as Coleridge, Wordsworth, Southey, Shelley, Ruskin, Hugh Walpole, Beatrix Potter, as well as more modern writers including Melvyn Bragg, Molly Lefebure and Bob Langley.Comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing should be worn. Tour will leave from Keswick Museum at 2pm.
