Fishers Ambassador Jennifer, is leading sessions on Shinrin-yoku, a Japanese Health remedy also known as Forest Bathing. These sessions are up at Whinlatter Forest and are great for improving your overall well-being.
Shinrin-Yoku or Forest Bathing is a natural well being therapy originating from Japan, scientifically proven to reduce your stress levels, boost your immune system and enhance your mood.
Jennifer will gently lead you to open up your senses and engage with the sights, sounds and smells of the forest; tuning into nature and your inner self through:
Gentle mindful walking
Breathing exercises
Mindful invitations to open awareness
Tea ceremony and reflections
Moderate level of fitness required
