Working alongside Patagonia we have spent the past year exploring some of our climbing history at George Fisher. We wanted to retrace the journeys and routes first taken by the Abraham brothers and others and tell new stories that recapture the essence of adventure that inspired them. We have put together a book filled with stories, photos and beautiful line-scape drawings all compiled together into our book 'Climb'.

To celebrate the launch of our book we have an evening of all things climbing here at the shop. Local climber Ron Kenyon will be talking on the history of climbing in Borrowdale and we will also be showing the Patagonia cult classic, 'Mountain of Storms'.

Everyone who attends will be able to get a copy of our new book 'Climb'.

Tickets are £3 in advance and £5 on the night. We have a limited amount of 60 tickets for this event. 7pm start.

All money raised through ticket sales will be donated to the John Muir Trust.
