We reckon anyone in this beautiful valley can give Mary Berry a “run for her money”, so put on that apron and get involved! There are 4 classes (with prizes!) to be won in our Great Borrowdale Bake-a-Cake Off Competition on Sunday 14th April 2019.
1. Borrowdale Tea Bread/Fruitcake category 2. Victoria Sponge category 3. Decorated Cake category / Traybake 4. Under 12’s class Cupcake category
There will also be a special prize for “BEST HERDY” cake overall.
We kindly ask that competitors donate all cake entries to feed the masses after the prize-giving at 4.15pm. Entries from Borrowdale and beyond most welcome.
