The Lingholm Estate is situated on the Western Shore of Derwentwater in a dramatic location surrounded by incredible views of some of the best loved Lakeland fells. The Boathouse - Sleeps 2

The Lingholm Boathouse is set next to Derwentwater in one of the most scenic locations in the Lakes. It offers a luxury one bedroom holiday apartment with kitchen, day room, bathroom and bedroom. With a fully glazed front you will feel immersed in the Lake with panoramic Lake Views from all the rooms, even from the bath!

Dewentwater - sleeps 4 (Dog friendly)

Derwentwater is a unique apartment formed out of the old billiards room adjoining the north side of the house. Set on the first floor, the apartment has incredible views of the lake and the fells across the water. Derwentwater was extensively refurbished at the beginning of 2018.

Please note – Derwentwater apartment is up one flight of steps which has a bend in the middle. The mezzanine is up another flight that has another bend. The mezzanine bedroom overlooks the main living room and is therefore visible however it has a private ensuite / dressing room and a dressing screen than can be used for more privacy.

Borrowdale - sleeps 4
With a wonderful character and full of atmosphere, our Borrowdale apartment is set within the eaves of the house alongside the imposing chimneys creating an intriguing space that sleeps four in two comfortable bedrooms.

• One bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower

Skiddaw - sleeps 4
Newly refurbished in December 2016 Skiddaw is a popular apartment that sleeps four in two bedrooms. The twin bedroom overlooks the front lawn and the main double bedroom which has dramatic views up to Skiddaw and a wonderful old fireplace. Skiddaw is on the top floor of the main house across the landing from Borrowdale apartment, they can be booked as a pair to suit larger groups holidaying together.
• One double bed and two single beds which can be made into a king- size bed

Swinside - sleeps 4
Swinside is a beautiful and particularly spacious apartment that sleeps four and is located at the front of the house. The delightful sitting room benefits from sweeping views over the main lawn leading up to Swinside hill and the dramatic summit of Causey Pike in the distance.
• One super-king bed and two single beds which can also be made into a king-size bed
• One house bathroom and en-suite to master bedroom

The Old Library - sleeps 4
The Old Library is a luxury ground floor apartment set at the front of the house with beautiful views over the front lawn leading up to causey pike in the distance. This beautifully finished apartment is all set on one level and has doors leading to a small raised terrace overlooking the front lawn, perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon tea when the sun is shining!
• One king-size bed and two single beds which can also be made into a king-size bed
• House bathroom with shower plus en-suite to master bedroom containg a bath with shower over

Lake View - sleeps 4
The Lake View suite is our most luxurious apartment. With stunning views of Derwentwater, the estate grounds and the iconic fells surrounding Lingholm. Formerly the private rooms of Lord Rochdale, the expansive main room is set to open plan with a luxury kitchen, sitting and dining areas complimented by a wonderful original polished teak floor and newly installed leaded light windows which evoke a period feel.
• One king-size bedroom and one double bedroom
• Luxury bathroom with beautiful signature copper and nickel bath and a huge walk-in power shower.

Silver Hill – sleeps 6 (Dog friendly)
Newly renovated for 2017 Silver Hill is luxury cottage with a spacious open plan living area with French doors that lead out to the private garden. It has three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite and one is served by the house bathroom. There is parking for two cars next to the cottage.
• Two double bedrooms and one twin room which can be made up as a king-size bed
• Two en-suite bathrooms with power showers and one house bathroom with a bath with a shower over

Keepers Cottage – sleeps 8 (Dog friendly)
Keepers Cottage, which sits on the site of where the first estate house once was has been lovingly restored into a four-bedroom cottage with spectacular views of the surrounding fells. The cottage has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area that centres around a wonderful wood burner that can be enjoyed from both sides for the room. The property is complimented by its own private garden.
• One king-size, one double and two twin bedrooms
• Two en-suite bathrooms and one house bathroom

Catbells Cottage – sleeps 8 ( Dog friendly)
Catbells Cottage, formed from the old stables of the adjoining Keepers Cottage, has been lovingly restored into a four-bedroom cottage with spectacular views of the surrounding fells. The cottage has a large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area that boasts a wall to ceiling glass window with a sliding door which leads out to the private garden.
• One king-size, one double and two twin bedrooms
• Two en-suite bathrooms and one house bathroom

The Lodge – sleeps 10 (Dog friendly)
The Lodge is a spacious house that sits within its own private garden on the estate. It sleeps up to ten people over five bedrooms. There is a very sunny double downstairs with a walk-in shower room next door making it perfect for guests who struggle with steps. The space is an ideal base for large families or groups of friends who want to spend time together.
• Two king-size, one double and two twin bedrooms
• One ground floor shower room, one house bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms

Rosetrees – sleeps 12 (Dog friendly)
Rosetrees is a wonderful six bedroom, six bathroom traditional Lakeland stone house that has been recently refurbished whilst carefully retaining the incredibly well preserved period features of this lakeside house. There is a large private area with lawns and gardens leading down to the lake, there is also a well-positioned stone patio overlooking the lake, together with parking for up to four cars on the front driveway.
• Two king-size bedrooms which can be made up as twin rooms and four double bedrooms
• All bedrooms have an en-suite. There is an additional WC downstairs
