The house is in a fabulous location with wonderful, unrestricted views across fields to the Borrowdale Fells, the Newlands Valley, Barf & the fells running the length of Bassenthwaite. It is a peaceful setting - ideal for a holiday as you have all the pleasure of a rural home yet the facilities of Keswick are still within easy reach. It has a beautifully maintained, good sized garden to the front, side & rear of the house with garden furniture & bar-be-cue.

The ground floor has night storage heaters. There is a large kitchen/dining room with a good range of well equipped modern units, a large refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, electric oven & hob.

The lounge has a colour television, DVD & an open fire for cozy winter evenings or an electric convector heater to supplement the heating.

Bedrooms - a single, a twin & a double room. All beds have continental quilts and linen is provided free of charge. Please bring your own towels (arrangements can be made for towels to be provided for overseas guests or if you are using public transport).

The bathroom has a bath, toilet, & wash hand basin & an electric shower.

A cot & high chair can be provided.

Location

Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 continue past the first turning signed to Keswick and continue on to Crosthwaite roundabout where you should take the right turn signed to Carlisle. Take the second lane on the right signed to Applethwaite and as you enter the small cluster of houses take the first turning on the left signed Raven Lane (there is a telephone box on the opposite side of the road). You will find that 3 & 4 are the second set of semi-detached houses on the right hand side of the road.
