Poachers Cottage

Situated by the Pheasant Inn in Crosthwaite on the outskirts of Keswick, Poachers Cottage was built by Faudlers Brewery in the late 1800's. A pleasant walk through the park and over the River Greta takes you to the centre of Keswick.

This two-bedroomed Poperty is ideally located for families or couples looking to sample the delights of Keswick, and for those wanting to hit the open road to the rest of the Lake District.

The cottage sleeps 4 people in two comfortable bedrooms, one double and one twin-bedded.

The spacious bathroom is equipped with both a large corner shower and a bath.

Downstairs there is a cosy lounge with a flatscreen digital DVD television and CD music centre, and a separate dining area.

The large fully-fitted kitchen is well-equipped with an electric cooker and hob and a washer-dryer.

Environmental improvements include the installation of the latest design combination boiler which ensures comfort throughout the year and instant hot water.

Central heating and hot water, together with clean fresh bed linen, are provided free to guests.

To the side of the property there is ample secure off-road parking.

A cot and high chair can be supplied if required. We accept a single adult dog, subject to complying with our conditions.

Reductions are made for smaller parties and short breaks are accepted out of season subject to availability.

Location

From the M6 Jct 40 take the A66 Keswick.
Ignore the first Keswick exit and carry on along the short dual carriageway to the Crosthwaite roundabout. Exit here for Keswick. Poachers Cottage is about 50 yards along Crosthwaite Road on the right hand side, next to the Pheasant Inn. Parking is to the side of the cottage in the designated space.
