A cosy traditional cobblestone cottage beside the River Greta about half a mile from Keswick town centre. The cottage is set back from the Penrith Road with off-street parking for one car.

The cottage comprises a living room and small kitchen on the ground floor. In the living room there is a television, DVD player, radio with CD player and also a drawer filled with traditional games. On the first floor there is a double bedroom and bathroom with lavatory, washbasin and bath with shower. On the next floor there is a small twin bedroom. At the back there is a patio area with table and chairs overlooking the river.

There are bus stops nearby and also a pub, which sells local real ale and meals, and a garage with a very useful Londis store. The nearest fell, Latrigg, is a few minutes walk away from where there are stunning views over Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains.

The property is carefully maintained by the owners, who live nearby and are therefore able to deal with any problems that might arise.

The cottage is in Penrith Road just slightly east of the Twa Dogs Inn, which is on the other side of the road
