Consistently awarded a Visit England 4* Gold Award, Lilac Cottage is a delightful, modern house within a quiet, residential courtyard a couple of minutes’ level walk from the shopping area & within easy walking distance of Derwentwater. This attractive cottage is beautifully maintained and the decor is regularly updated with tastefully colour co-ordinated furnishings throughout. It has full gas central heating and hot water is in constant supply from a combi boiler.
It has a fabulous contemporary kitchen/dining room with a good range of well equipped units, a refrigerator/freezer, washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, slow cooker and DAB radio/CD with bluetooth facility.
The lounge has a 40 inch Smart TV, DVD and electric fire and brand new sofas in 2021. Patio doors look out over a small garden area and fold up chairs are provided for use on the small patio.

Location
Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 take the first turning left signed to Keswick. Turn right at the junction with the A591 from Ambleside and head downhill past the Twa Dogs public house and continue on through a pedestrian crossing, following the road as it bends left and then right through another pedestrian crossing at the western end of the Market Place. Turn left at the small mini roundabout just 100yards further on and then filter to go on the right hand fork past the taxi rank and bus stops outside of Booths Store. Turn right again and ignore the turning right to go into Booth’s car park but continue along to the car parking area amongst the houses and apartments a little ahead. Please use space No17. Lilac Cottage is the second town house to the right.
