Lilac Cottage

A delightful, modern house within a quiet, residential courtyard a couple of minutes’ level walk from the shopping area & within easy walking distance of Derwentwater. The cottage has recently been completely renovated and redecorated and has been tastefully colour co-ordinated throughout. It has full gas central heating set to come on twice a day and all hot water is in constant supply from a combi boiler.

It has a fabulous contemporary kitchen/dining room with a good range of well equipped units, a refrigerator/freezer, an automatic washing machine/tumble drier, a microwave, gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, CD, radio and TV

The lounge has a colour TV,  DVD and electric fire. Patio doors look out over the court and fold up chairs are provided for use on the small patio.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, toilet, wash hand basin and shaver point.

Location

Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 take the first turning left signed to Keswick. Turn right at the junction with the A591 from Ambleside and head downhill past the Twa Dogs public house and continue on through a pedestrian crossing, following the road as it bends left and then right through another pedestrian crossing at the western end of the Market Place. Turn left at the small mini roundabout just 100yards further on and then filter to go on the right hand fork past the taxi rank and bus stops outside of Booths Store. Turn right again and ignore the turning right to go into Booth’s car park but continue along to the car parking area amongst the houses and apartments a little ahead. Please use space No17. Lilac Cottage is the semi to the right.
