Holly Bank Cottage

Holly Bank is a delightful, family run cottage in a peaceful village, 3 miles from the lovely market town of Keswick with its many excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. Comfortable and well appointed, it has large picture windows providing stunning panoramic views over Skiddaw and the Helvellyn range.

The cottage is divided into two self contained units which can be let as one house for up to 10 people. Downstairs has an open fire and will accommodate up to 6 people in one double and two twin bedrooms. It has two bathrooms for added convenience, one of which is en-suite. Upstairs sleeps four people in a double and a twin. The pleasant, enclosed garden has benches, a barbecue and sun loungers for our guests to enjoy.

Perfectly situated for exploring the Northern Lakes and fells with many superb walks from the door. Excellent local pubs. Ideal for families, walkers and cyclists. Dogs welcome by arrangement. Central heating, electricity and bed linen included.

Location

Thornthwaite is just three miles from Keswick. From the M6, follow the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue past Keswick junctions, and Braithwaite junction, and Thornthwaite is signposted left off the A66. Thornthwaite Village is approx one mile. Holly Bank Cottage is on the left, three houses past the main village bus stop.
