GALLERY MEWS COTTAGES (3) - Thornthwaite Village - KESWICK
The cottages are part of a 200 year old converted barn looking out onto the slopes of Skiddaw and set against the romantic backdrop and treescape of Thornthwaite forest.
Each cottage has a warm and charming individual character of its own and located between Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwentwater the cottages are set in a secluded well kept garden with plenty of pubs and inns and good eating close by.

Location

The cottages are situated in the village of Thornthwaite. Follow brown signs to Thornthwaite Galleries.

Follow the A66 from Keswick, take the Thornthwaite turnoff to the left. Continue for 1 mile into the village, turn left and the cottages are below the Gallery. 

Follow the A66 from Cockermouth, take the Thornthwaite turnoff to the right. Continue for 1 mile into the village, turn right and the cottages are below the Gallery.
