Derwent Edge

Derwent Edge is a comfortable and very clean self catering cottage, providing accommodation for up to 4 guests in this quiet village of Portinscale, yet only a 12 minute riverside stroll from Keswick.  

The cottage comprises a living room (with gas fire, TV and DVD) a well equipped kitchen, porch (with separate toilet) and access into a small patio garden.  Upstairs is a double bedroom, twin room (with views over the fells) and bathroom (with bath,overhead shower, toilet and wash basin). There is private parking and  a lockable shed suitable for bike storage and outdoor gear. A travel cot and highchair are also available.New this year - free internet access.

The lake and fells are within easy walking distance from the cottage, as are the pub, hotel restaurant and tearoom, making this the ideal place to base your visit to Keswick and the surrounding area.  Pets welcome.

Location

Junction 40 off the M6 - follow the A66 to Keswick (bypass Keswick and Portinscale is the first left turn.  Cottage is on the left (yellow) - just before the Farmer's Arms pub.  Parking is at the rear of the cottage.

Near to Keswick, Braithwaite and Newlands Valley.
